Retreat
One of the services of St. Mary Convent is to provide a quiet place where females (individuals and church groups) can come to be spiritually refreshed through prayer, silence, contemplation and enjoyment of natural beauty. The Convent offers overnight accommodations for female visitors and those attending retreats.
The facilities of the Convent are open to females and can be reserved by individuals and church groups.
Retreatants are to follow the set prayer schedule provided by the Convent.
Retreat Opportunities
St. Mary Convent provides an opportunity for a time of quiet and spiritual reflection for females only. The Convent offers contained retreats. A contained retreat is a group of females that wants to use the center while putting on its own program. The Convent provides the rooms, beds, meeting rooms and chairs, so that the retreat coordinator can manage the details of the retreat and the meals. The Convent offers the following retreat opportunities:
- Individual Retreats - These self-directed retreats provide the opportunity to experience time alone with God in a prayerful setting.
- Church Group Retreats - By special arrangement, church groups, females only, can reserve the Convent facilities for their retreats or workshops.
